Quote of the Week by William James

I can relate to this quote by William James.  When going through the early stages of my divorce, I remember thinking that life was not worth living.  Even though I wanted to give up, there was a tiny speck of hope deep in me, telling me to search for joy.  I began to look around to find "beauty in the pain."  It was a process, but slowly I did start to see the beauty, and my hope grew.   I discovered that, yes, life was beyond worth living.
