 It is nice when someone brings us flowers.  That has happened many times in my life, and it made me feel loved and appreciated.  The problem is when we place our happiness on the actions of someone else bringing us joy/bringing us flowers.  I think it is important to enjoy the precious time when someone takes the time to acknowledge us, but I think it is more important that we can find joy within ourselves and not be dependent on someone else for our happiness.
