 Every few weeks or so, I check to see what is happening in Divorce News. I search "divorce" in Google and put a time frame on the search of that current week/month to give me an overview of what is happening in divorce news. The trending news is typically celebrity news.

Yes, in the news, it is the celebrities that get all the attention. I am not looking for articles that are celebrity-focused. I am searching for articles that can help regular people look for answers as they navigate the difficult road of divorce. If you are looking for celebrity divorce news, here are a couple in the news to take a look at. 

Jennifer Lopez Says Divorce Was Probably the Hardest Time of Her Life-I like what she says in the article about finding joy. 

Kathy Griffin Says Divorce is Kicking Her A-- Mentally-I don't care who you are, celebrity or not, divorce is painful.

1-My Wife Just Threatened to Divorce Me Over My Position on Halloween Candy- I thought this was a rather interesting article.  I agree with the article that the problem is a marriage issue, not just a candy issue.  Read the article and let me know your thoughts.  I think each party has a point, but they are going about it the wrong way.

2-I Became An Uber Driver After My Divorce and Found a New Community-I enjoyed this article about a now single mom trying her hand a being a Uber driver.  She found herself in helping others.  

3-Divorce Presents Emotional Challenges Even for Adult Children-This is so true.  My family still lives this more then a decade after it occurred.  The holidays will never be the same, which is a sad but true reality.

4-Til Divorce Do Us Part- I completely understand why marriage is viewed differently than it used to be.  In our society, our marriage vows mean very little, and I think that is sad. 

5-Dear Annie, Blended, Divorced Families Should Celebrate Holidays on Multiple Days- it is essential to be flexible during the holidays, especially when dealing with divorced families.  It is okay to have separate celebrations, and it is fine to celebrate a holiday on a different day.
